May 2016: Chakra Brahmanda Lentera (CANDLE) Institute was established in 2016 with a primary focus on providing education and training in the fields of health and nursing.

May 2019: The Journal of Applied Nursing and Health (JANH) was granted print ISSN (p-ISSN: 2657-1609) through Decree No. 0005.26571609/JI.3.1/SK.ISSN/2019.05 (Portal Perpusnas), registered in the ISSN Portal. [SK LIPI or Official Degree]

March 21, 2025: The JANH was officially accredited as SINTA 2, as per Notification Letter No. 0173/C3/DT.05.00/2025 and Decree No. 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025 issued by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of Indonesia.

2021: JANH was granted its electronic ISSN (e-ISSN: 2809-3208) under Decree No. 005.28093208/K.4/SK.ISSN/2021.12, (Portal Perpusnas) as listed in the ISSN Portal. [SK BRIN or Official Degree]

2019–2024: Frequency maintained a Biannual publication schedule (June and December).
2025: Frequency change to Triannually (March, July, and November). [ISSN BRIN: E-ISSN and P-ISSN]

March 2025: JANH adopted updated manuscript guidelines starting from Volume 7, Issue 1, adding new sections such as Implication for Practice, Relevance for Practice, Funding, and Credit Authorship Contributions Statement, as well as a more detailed Method structure to improve clarity, transparency, and global publishing standards.

2025: The JANH established publication collaborations with professional associations and major universities in Indonesia, namely AIPVIKI, HPHI, UNESA, UNJAYA, and USI [See Collaboration Page].
